Adopt A Senior Pet Month (tribute to Kimmy)

November is Adopt a Senior Pet Month! So it was fitting that my foster girl Kimmy got adopted last week 🙂 She’s probably at least 10 years old, and blind, and the sweetest thing ever. I’m so glad she has a warm lap to curl up on. Her new family is already spoiling her so much!

These are some pictures I took while I fostered her.

If you’re interested in adopting a senior pet this month, check out Petfinder’s site here! Kimmy was adopted through Save a Cat Rescue in Houston.

Adopt A Shelter Cat

June is Adopt a Shelter Cat month! On Instagram, I’ve been featuring adoptable kitties that I photograph at Save A Cat Rescue in Houston. This is one of my favorites of Thom! He’s so handsome 🙂

Also, I recently got accepted to join Hearts Speak, a network of artists helping animals! I love that I can volunteer my talent to help spread awareness, and help animals get exposed to more potential adopters! If you or someone you know has a rescue group in Houston that needs photographs, please contact me!

In Bondi, we rented a second-floor apartment. This cat belonged to the people living in the unit below us. She was always perched outside greeting us when we got home. She looks kind of rude in these pictures but really she was so sweet.

Hemingway’s Cats

I love books. To the point where I don’t get anything done because I’m reading all the time. So when I visited Key West, I had to see Hemingway’s house. I think the character of the home is in the cats. They are everywhere, and some of them have six toes.
